Punjabi Dating And Desi Talk ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy details our procedures regarding the collection, use, disclosure, storage, and protection of your information when you use the Punjabi Dating And Desi Talk mobile application (the "App" or "Service").

By downloading, registering with, or using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. We strictly comply with Google Play Developer Policies, Google Play Data Safety Requirements, AdMob Ad Policies, Meta (Facebook) Audience Network Policies, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and applicable privacy legislation.

1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

To deliver user matching, private chat, real-time voice rooms, account security, and personalized social experiences, we collect several types of data:

A. Account and Profile Information

• Profile Attributes: Name, display name, gender, date of birth / age, relationship status, bio, interests, and profile preferences.
• Phone Number & Contact Details: Collected during account registration and OTP verification for security, anti-spam prevention, and account recovery. Your phone number remains strictly private and is never shown publicly to other users.
• Google Sign-In Account Data: If you sign in using Google, we collect your name, primary email address, and profile picture URL as authorized via Google OAuth permissions.
• Profile Photos, Gallery Uploads & Chat Images: Profile pictures, gallery photos, and image attachments sent in 1-on-1 Private Chat or Global Chat are selected securely using the Android System Photo Picker (without requesting broad device storage permissions). Profile pictures are processed using Google ML Kit Face Detection to verify human face presence and filter out non-human or abusive media. Sent chat images are transmitted securely over TLS/HTTPS, stored on secure servers solely to display to chat recipients, and senders can long-press and delete their sent images at any time (permanently removing them for all participants).

B. Sensitive Device Permissions & Hardware Access

• Precise & Approximate Location Data (`ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION`, `ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION`): With your consent, we collect GPS and Network location data to calculate distances between users, populate the "Nearby" discovery screen, and send location-based match notifications. Location permission is optional and can be managed anytime via device settings.
• Microphone, Live Audio & Voice Messages (`android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO`): Requested for live voice features and voice messaging:
  • Live Voice Rooms: Requested when you enter Global Voice Chat Rooms or participate in live voice calls. Live audio is transmitted peer-to-peer via WebRTC (PeerJS) and is never recorded or saved.
  • Voice Messages (Voice Notes): Requested when you record and send voice messages in 1-on-1 or Global Chat (up to 2 minutes). Voice recordings are compressed (`.m4a`), encrypted in transit via TLS/HTTPS, and stored on our secure servers solely to enable playback by chat recipients. Senders can long-press and delete their voice notes at any time, permanently erasing them for all users.
• Device Identifiers & Network Info: Android Advertising ID (GAID), IP address, device brand/model, OS version, Firebase Installation ID, and FCM tokens used for push notifications and security auditing.

C. Guest Account Data

We provide a Guest Login feature allowing temporary app exploration without full profile registration. Guest sessions use a temporary anonymous identifier (e.g., "guest_1725568171"). Guest users remain subject to location and device identifier collection to enable nearby discovery and ad serving.

3-Day Automatic Purge: All guest account records, temporary messages, and session preferences are automatically and permanently erased from our servers after 3 days of inactivity.

D. Background Processing & WorkManager

To deliver real-time chat alerts and incoming message push notifications when the app is minimized or the device screen is off, the App uses Android WorkManager and background services. Users may optionally grant permission to disable battery optimizations to ensure continuous notification delivery.

2. Advertising & Identification Policies

To support our free services, we display advertisements provided by trusted advertising networks. We strictly enforce ad identifier policies:

A. Android Advertising ID (`com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID`)

The App declares the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission to access your device's Android Advertising ID (GAID). We and our advertising partners (Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network) use the Advertising ID for:

• Ad personalization and interest-based advertising (where permitted by user consent).
• Frequency capping (ensuring you do not see the same ad repeatedly).
• Ad performance reporting, conversion tracking, and click fraud prevention.

Opting Out / Resetting Advertising ID: You can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time on your Android device by navigating to: Settings > Google > Ads > Reset advertising ID / Delete advertising ID (or Settings > Privacy > Ads depending on device manufacturer).

B. Google AdMob & Google UMP (Consent Management)

We integrate Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, native, rewarded, and app-open ads. For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), and Switzerland, we utilize the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to collect and manage explicit consent for personalized advertising in compliance with GDPR and ePrivacy guidelines.

C. Meta (Facebook) Audience Network

We display advertisements from Meta Audience Network. Meta uses device identifiers, app usage statistics, and IP address data to serve and evaluate targeted ads. You can review Meta's Privacy Policy and adjust preferences at Meta Ad Preferences.

3. Third-Party Integrations & SDKs

The App incorporates third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) to power core functionality, payments, and security:

A. Google Services & Google OAuth User Data Statement

We use Google Sign-In for secure authentication. Our use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not share Google user data with external marketers or advertising brokers.

B. Google ML Kit Face Detection

We integrate Google ML Kit Face Detection (com.google.mlkit:face-detection) to scan profile photos during upload to confirm human face presence and protect users against inappropriate or fake profile pictures. Face detection is executed transiently during upload. We DO NOT create, extract, store, sell, or share biometric face templates or facial recognition data.

C. Google Play Billing System

All in-app purchases, VIP subscriptions, and coin packs are processed securely through the Google Play Billing System (com.android.billingclient:billing). We do not collect, process, or store credit card numbers, debit details, or bank credentials. All financial billing is managed exclusively by Google Play.

D. Google Firebase

We utilize Google Firebase for Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push notifications, and Firebase Realtime Database to sync game states (Ludo, Snakes & Ladders, Tic Tac Toe) and voice room status.

E. CleverTap Analytics

We use the CleverTap SDK (com.clevertap.android:clevertap-android-sdk) to deliver engagement analytics, in-app messaging, and push notifications for chat and profile activity.

F. PeerJS & WebRTC

Facilitates encrypted real-time peer-to-peer audio transmission for voice chat rooms without storing audio streams on servers.

6. Community Safety, UGC Moderation & Zero Tolerance CSAM Policy

Punjabi Dating And Desi Talk enforces strict User-Generated Content (UGC) policies to ensure user safety:

• Prohibited Content: Nudity, sexually explicit content, hate speech, harassment, violence, spam, scams, and illegal activities are strictly forbidden.
• In-App User Feedback & Reporting Mechanism: Users can submit feedback or report child safety concerns directly within the app without leaving the application by tapping In-App Feedback & Safety Report in Settings or About screen. Additionally, users can instantly report or block abusive profiles or chat participants using in-app "🛡️ Report User" buttons.
• Zero Tolerance for Child Exploitation (CSAM / CSAE): We maintain a strict zero-tolerance stance against Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE). Any attempt to share CSAM or solicit minors results in instant account termination, hardware/IP ban, and mandatory reporting to law enforcement and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). 7. Data Security and Encryption

We implement robust technical and organizational security controls to protect your data:

• Transit Encryption: All data transmitted between the App and our backend servers is encrypted using HTTPS / TLS / SSL protocols.
• Database Security: Data is stored in secure server infrastructure protected by firewalls, access controls, and periodic security monitoring.
• No Data Selling: We DO NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party data brokers.

8. Your Privacy Rights & Choices

A. European Union (GDPR) / UK Privacy Rights

If you reside in the EEA or UK, you possess rights to access, update, export, or erase your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent for personalized advertising. You can adjust ad consent via the in-app Google UMP dialog or submit a privacy request to avengermuller7@gmail.com.

B. US State Privacy Laws (CCPA / CPRA / VCDPA)

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other US states have the right to know what personal data is collected, request deletion of personal information, opt-out of targeted advertising or the "sale/sharing" of personal data, and receive non-discriminatory treatment. 9. Account Deletion and Data Retention Rights

In full compliance with Google Play User Data policies, registered users have complete autonomy to delete their account and personal data:

Retention Timeline: Following an account deletion request, your profile records, gallery media, chat logs, match records, and settings are permanently erased from active production servers within 24 to 48 hours.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is strictly restricted to adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal data from minors under 18. If we discover a minor has created an account, we will immediately terminate the account and permanently delete all associated data.
